Malarkey Legacy, Legacy Scotchgard, and Windsor Scotchgard offer 20 years of full non-prorated coverage, GAF and Owens Corning offer 10. Availability of specific colors and designer lines can vary, we will confirm what is in stock when we quote.

The largest roofing manufacturer in North America, and one of the two brands we are certified in. GAF's biggest advantage in Eastern WA is the 25-year algae warranty on the Timberline line, which beats Owens Corning's standard 10-year outright.

The other brand we are certified in. Owens Corning's core strength is SureNail technology, a woven fabric nailing strip that delivers 42% better nail-pull resistance than standard shingles. Their Class 4 option (Duration FLEX) is a strong choice for cold-weather installs and insurance restoration work.
Standard Lifetime Limited
Any OC shingle, no contractor program required
Lifetime limited against manufacturing defects. 10-year non-prorated coverage. SureNail coverage on the Duration line covers nail pull-through during the critical early period.
Algae warranty note: standard OC install is 10-year StreakGuard. To get 25-year coverage, OC accessory products (starter, underlayment, etc.) must be installed at the same time. Ask us which you are being quoted.

Malarkey
A Pacific Northwest brand we also install. Every Malarkey architectural shingle uses NEX polymer-modified rubber asphalt, which is tougher, more flexible, and more impact-resistant than standard asphalt. The Right Start period (full non-prorated coverage) runs longer than the GAF and Owens Corning standard.

The Right Start comparison: Legacy and Legacy Scotchgard give you 20 years of full non-prorated coverage, versus 10 on GAF and Owens Corning. If a Legacy roof fails in year 14 from a manufacturing defect, you get full replacement value, where GAF or OC would give a depreciated payout at that point. It is a real dollar difference, and it matters most when you need it.
The eco angle: Malarkey builds recycled rubber tires and plastic bags into every shingle, and their smog-reducing granules break down nitrogen oxides in sunlight. GreenCircle certified.

Premium shake or slate look

Selling your home? All three brands allow full warranty transfer to the new owner. Malarkey requires the new owner to register within 30 days of the title-transfer date, and if that window is missed the warranty voids entirely. GAF and Owens Corning transfers are simpler. Perfect Circle will provide all documentation needed to support the transfer at the time of sale.
